January 6, 2020: Charles Blomquist and Sarah David Named Deputy State Prosecutors

CHARLES BLOMQUIST AND SARAH DAVID NAMED DEPUTY STATE PROSECUTORS

Maryland State Prosecutor Charlton Howard announced today that Charles Blomquist and Sarah David have been appointed Deputy State Prosecutors. Blomquist comes to the Office of the State Prosecutor after over 18 years service at the Baltimore City State Attorney’s Office, most recently as Chief of the Office’s Gun Violence Enforcement Division. He graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law and is a Past President of the Baltimore City Bar Association.

David, who has served as Senior Assistant State Prosecutor since 2018, previously served as Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the Judicial Proceedings Committee in the Maryland General Assembly and as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

State Prosecutor Howard stated: “I am delighted that Charles has joined our Office and that Sarah will be expanding her role. I am confident that our new leadership team will best posture us for future success, and continue to drive our office’s vital mission of combatting corruption throughout the State of Maryland”.
