INDICTMENT

The Grand Jurors of the State of Maryland for the body of Anne Arundel County do on their Oath present that

COUNT I

From on or about January 7, 2016 and through and including on or about October 26, 2016, at Anne Arundel County, Maryland, NICOLE SMITH, pursuant to a common scheme and continuing course of conduct, did knowingly, willfully, and intentionally steal at least ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) but less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) in United States currency, property of the campaign finance entity known as “Friends of Sally Jameson” to wit: using the entities’ bank account for payment of her personal expenses including Credit One, Capital One, Walmart, Comenity Bank and Toyota car payments totaling $10, 806.38, in violation of §7-104 of the Criminal Law Article and against the peace, government and dignity of the State.

 COUNT II

From on or about January 7, 2016 and through and including on or about October 26, 2016, at Anne Arundel County, Maryland, NICOLE SMITH did knowingly and willfully, pursuant to one scheme and a continuing course of conduct, assume the identity of another with the fraudulent intent to get a benefit, credit, good, service, or other thing of value to wit: opening three (3) credit cards; Credit One, Lane Bryant d.b.a. Comenity Bank, and Walmart, in the name of and using the personal information of Ishola Abdulsalam, totaling an amount of $7,346.56, in violation of §8-301 of the Criminal Law Article and against the peace, government and dignity of the State.
