INDICTMENT
The Grand Jurors of the State of Maryland for the body of Baltimore City do on their Oath present that
COUNT I
From on or about October 28, 2013 and through and including on or about September 1, 2016, at Baltimore City, Maryland, LESLIE LEWIS, pursuant to a common scheme and plan, did knowingly, willfully and intentionally steal at least ten thousand dollars (10,000.00) but less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) in United States currency, property of the Baltimore City Public School System held in the name of Baltimore Community High School, to wit: did obtain and exert unauthorized control over approximately $13,490.28 from the Baltimore Community High School’s PNC bank account ending in 5397 received through proceeds from the sale of school uniforms, school supplies, snacks, class dues payments, graduation fees, checks issued by the Department of Social Services, proceeds from fundraiser at the Green Turtle, and a refund check from Kings Dominion, by using an ATM/Debit card associated with the account to make 49 ATM withdrawals ($9,659.35), three (3) counter withdrawals ($650.00) and four (4) point of sale purchases at Maryland Live Casino ($2,182.35), in violation of §7-104 of the Criminal Law Article and against the peace, government and dignity of the State.

COUNT II
From on or about October 28, 2013 and through and including on or about September 1, 2016, at Baltimore City, Maryland, LESLIE LEWIS, being then and there the Principal of Baltimore Community High School, a responsible officer of that entity, charged with the fiduciary duty to ensure that the funds of Baltimore Community High School are used for their designated purpose, in violation of said fiduciary duty, did fraudulently and willfully misappropriate Baltimore Community High School monies to wit: approximately $13,490.28 held by her in a fiduciary capacity for Baltimore Community High School, for her personal use and benefit contrary to the trust reposed in her, in violation of §7-113 of the Criminal Law Article and against the peace, government and dignity of the State.

From on or about March 4, 2013 and through and including on or about June 30, 2016, at Baltimore City, Maryland, LESLIE LEWIS, pursuant to a common scheme and plan, did knowingly, willfully, and intentionally steal at least ten thousand dollars (10,000.00) but less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00), the property of the Baltimore City Public School System, to wit: did use deceptive purchase orders to purchase with school funds approximately $40,702.39 worth of technology including one (1) GE 7.0 Cubic Foot 13 Cycle Electric Dryer, one (1) Bose Accoustimass 10 Series IV Speaker System, four (4) Apple IMAC computers and related software, six (6) Apple Macbook Pro laptop computers, three (3) Color Laser Jet Pro M252dw printers, three (3) Apple Thunderbolt 27” display monitors, three (3) Apple iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB tablets, four (4) Apple iPad Pro Wi-Fi 32GB tablets and related accessories, one (1) Epson EX3220 SVGA LCD projector, two (2) GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition digital cameras, eight (8) Apple iPad Minis, and three (3) Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablets with related accessories, for her personal use and benefit, in violation of §7-104 of the Criminal Law Article and against the peace, government and dignity of the State.
